What do we do now?

We've all read different accounts of how Obama won the election. He didn't win by a landslide, not even in IL where about 37 percent voted for John McCain. He didn't win because the nation fell in love with him because obviously we all don't identify with his politics or we wouldn't be blogging at TownHall. Obama won for several good reasons.

Big labor backed him
Community organizers backed him (ACORN and others)
Lax credit card security for donations allowed almost anyone to donate to Obama.
Brzezinski backed and mentored Obama (Brzezinski is the co-founder of Trilateral Commission)
George Soros backed Obama
MSM didn't just back Obama, they were his personal publicity spokespersons.

Zbigniew Brzezinski endorsed Obama in the summer of 2007.  The former national security adviser was Jimmy Carter's mentor and Barack Obama's mentor. Is Obama a mouthpiece for Brzezinski? It's been suggested, but we don't know for certain yet. Henry Kissinger another member of the Trilateral Commission is openly calling for a New World Order since Obama was elected. George HW Bush spoke of the NWO and Bill Clinton spoke of it as well. Both parties have members in the organization and both parties have had Trilateral members in their administrations since it began in 1973. Reagan may be the only exception.

How could Obama lose with all this powerful support? He couldn't.

Where does that leave conservatives and moderates?

It leaves us in a very bad place.  At one time, we had the Christian conservatives to defend the principles of personal liberty. Now-I'm not sure we have that voter block.

What we need to do is identify the remaining conservatives who believe in personal liberties because they are disappearing quickly. Unless we identify and engage each other on a more personal level--without the grassroots movement there is no hope of making a comeback. I'm not anyone special and I don't have a political science background, but it doesn't take a genius to see we're fragmented.
